Volunteering as I am sure everyone will agree is a very important for the allotment site. Things that we all use like road maintenance, or hedge trimming, grass cutting, meetings about funding and various other tasks if someone didn’t do the site wouldn’t be able to function properly.
2022
January to February Jobs
Over the past few months various jobs have been completed including cutting up and clearing a couple of fallen trees in the high winds, 5 new speed bumps have been installed to slow down cars on the road along the plots.
The memorial feature has also been repaired and new raised beds built.

December 2021 jobs completed.
All first aid boxes were resealed and checked, toilet cleaned 4 times a month, cameras all cleaned, footpath to toilet relayed and leveled off, potholes in roads checked and refilled, Main gate cleared of leaves and cleaned 4 times a month, water pump checked 8 times a month, outside drain at River checked and cleared 8 times a month, 2 new tyres on sack barrow fixed.
JOBS DONE IN NOVEMBER 2021
Over the month of November there has been a few maintenance jobs being caught up with now that the grass cutting season is finished.

JOBS THAT CAN BE DONE OUTSIDE VOLUNTEERING DAYS
Please note the edges of your plot on path needs to be weeded
1. Cut back trees around the main road and put in fire area
2. Clear outside main gate
3. Fill in holes in road.
4. Fix the ½ barrel at green office road side.
5. Weed ½ barrels and outer planter.
6. Move soil from right side of office into raise beds.
7. Pick up tree cutting top of main road also the same at turning point (to the right).
